The first two days, you give yourself an injection of hCG first thing in the morning. These are LOAD days, which means you are going to gorge yourself on food!
Eat lots of high-quality fatty foods. For breakfast eat a three-egg omelet with lots of butter and cheese, and a side of bacon. Snack on lots of macadamia nuts. For lunch have beef short ribs and rice or potatoes with lot of butter. Snack on nuts, pork rinds, etc. Dinner is high fat beef or pork, pasta/potatoes/rice with lots of full fat cheese and butter. Dessert is full fat ice cream, etc. The goal is to consume 3000 to 3500 calories both days.
After the first two days of injections, you will go on what is called a “Very Low Calorie Diet,” or VLCD. You are limited to two meals each day consisting of specific foods and quantities for a total of 500 calories per day. Most forums and websites refer to this as “Phase 2” of the diet.
You must eat all the food specified in this stage, except for the Melba or rice crackers.

HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS:
Don and I discovered White Shirataki Noodles (or Miracle Noodles). These life-savers are literally calorie-free and carb-free and can be added to many of the VLCD recipes. They provide bulk, which can help fill you up, and a serving each day won’t interfere with your diet results.
If you are not familiar with Shirataki Noodles, there are some tips for making them work for you. You MUST rinse them thoroughly, I mean thoroughly, when you open the package. I then boil them in plain water for 4-5 minutes, dry them on paper towel, then heat in a dry sauté pan for 4-5 minutes, turning frequently. Then you can add them to any soup or sauce-type recipe and they will absorb the flavor of the liquid. It sounds like a lot of work, but trust me, it is worth it!
